About Tin Mill Restaurant
Tin Mill Restaurant is located in one of the oldest and most recognized landmarks in Hermann, Missouri. First built in the 1840s, the structure was utilized as a grain elevator during the 1800s and much of the 1900s, and then became an MFA farm distribution center until about 2003. The three-story mill and attached ice house played a critical role in the agricultural and commercial development of Hermann. Known as the Hermann Mill, the facility produced White Pearl Flour and Lucky Hard Wheat Flour.
Its location was particularly useful and efficient due to the proximity to the riverfront and later was only a couple yards away from the tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad. The attached ice house, called Celebration Hall, makes a terrific venue for weddings, conferences, and other events. With more than 10 Venues to choose from, Hermannhof can accommodate weddings
and groups from 10 people to 1000 people. From a rustic barn setting to an elegant affair in our Festhalle or one of our lovely Wine Cellars, we can cater for the perfect event.
