Grady Health System and the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE) are joining forces for "A September to Remember," a powerful Prostate Cancer Awareness Experience designed to save lives and close the health equity gap.
In a pioneering effort to combat health disparities, Grady is taking a bold step by recommending prostate cancer screenings for men starting at age 40. This is a more aggressive guideline than those from other national health organizations, reflecting Grady's commitment to proactively serving Atlanta’s high-risk population.
This powerful initiative is designed to bring vital health information and services directly to the community with a full day of programming, including:
Screenings and Testing: Offering a comprehensive suite of screenings for early detection and wellness, including PSA Early Detection, STI, Blood Pressure, Hepatitis C, and Glucose.
Men's Zen Room: A dedicated space for relaxation and mental wellness, promoting holistic health for men.
Cooking Demonstrations: Engaging sessions on preparing nutritious meals to support a healthy lifestyle.
Join us at "A September to Remember" as we work to bring life-saving awareness and action to the heart of our community.
